In 2011, the Angu Hydropower Station in Leshan City, Sichuan Province officially launched the project construction, and the earthwork works in this project were undertaken by our company. In this project, the power generation tail canal, which is a key component, was excavated on the riverbed, involving the treatment of millions of square meters of red sandstone with a hardness of grade 5, which is undoubtedly a great challenge for us. Considering that in this project, blasting technology cannot be used, and the speed and quantity of breaking hammers have great uncertainty, which makes the project cost face huge risks, and brings great risks to the implementation of the entire implementation plan of the project. a lot of trouble.


At this critical moment, we decisively decided to introduce the Carter D11 extra-large bulldozer. Although the Carter D11 bulldozer did show good results in construction, the investment in multiple bulldozers was not feasible due to the excessive financial pressure required for the bulldozer. In addition, the insufficient excavation depth of the bulldozer and the unevenness of the bottom resulted in slow loading and slow movement of the material truck, which had a certain impact on the progress of the project.

Finally, the unresponsiveness and high failure rate of the bulldozers also slowed down the progress of the project. In this case, we began to pay attention to the research and development of the rock arm, hoping to find a way to quickly solve the pressure of the construction schedule. After a period of research and development and testing, the rock arm came into being with the efforts of the Open Source Zhichuang team, and the time was fixed in October 2011. This innovative solution not only solves the problem of tight schedule, but also brings us more efficient and stable work results, which makes the progress of the project get strong support.
